Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

I'd say try it! My DH used to be the same..until he realised we all got more sleep. He very rarely wakes up in the night as when daisy stirs I just turn over and feed her. Daisy is my DH's first baby who has co-slept out of 5 kids! And he has no problem with it now as he can see that it works! I'd tell your OH that you're tired and you think it will help you feel less sleep deprived. xxx

Its less disturbed sleep all round - and i think you are doing it for the right reasons :aww:

I have co-slept with all 3 of mine (didnt bf 1st 2) and they all slept so much better. they both 'self weaned' Laughing at about 12 months - they just made the transition happily and gradually.
Corey is obviously still in with us - I love being able to feel his warmth and breath and know he is safe and sound!

When me and my DH co-slept with our DD1, we actually got a worst night sleep! B/c DD1 constantly trashes about in her sleep and in the morning one of us would find a baby's foot up in our nose!

Co-sleeping with our DD2 was fine, perfect in fact!

Nah, I don't think Blake will be a mummy's boy, he will be a more confidence boy if anything!

I co slept and had no problems moving Oli out of my room when she was just over the age of one.

They aren't more clingy and if anything it will help them feel more confident, thats were baby wearing comes in too aswell as the breastfeeding, it all has the same positive effect.

As long as its done right you wont have any problems and a lovely restfull night sleep :cosleep1:

I put blake in his cot first as he goes to bed at 8-30 then when he woke in the night for a feed (thought it was to good to be true that he would sleep through like the night before) i put him in bed with us and hesstill asleep now at 8am! usually up around 7am so he must prefure my bed, and df didnt seem to mind either!!! Very Happy
