i miss sleeping... :(
its not that i ever got much of it anyway but, for a few weeks, connor was going down at 8.30pm, then waking at 3.30am and 5.30am for a feed before getting up with me at 7.00am.
our two night feeds were cuddly and lovely - he'd crawl over and kick me (LOL) til i woke up and put a boob in his mouth. i'd go back to sleep whilst he fed and he'd drift off snuggled up next to me.
he's had a cold for a couple of weeks; its definitely getting better now, but he's got into the habit of going to bed at 7.30pm, waking at 11.00pm for a feed, then waking any time after 2.00am and screaming at me to be fed - and this will happen at least 4/5 more times before breakfast. this morning he had a full blown tantrum for no reason other than i didn't put my boob in his mouth quickly enough - he wasn't even really that hungry, he took a few sucks then wanted to go off and play
i want my cuddly baby back. i want sleeeeep...:iconsad: :iconsad:

Ha! Sleep is for the weak!
No, seriously, I do feel for you, I've forgotten what's like to sleep for more than a 5 hour stretch! My boy has only ever slept through the night once!!!

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.

Re: i miss sleeping... :(
Bethany has never been a good sleeper so i'm kind of used to it now. But over this last few week since shes been getting her first 2 teeth she's decided she'd rather go to sleep at 8pm now (still wakes 3/4 times for :boob: ) and not 10/11pm that she used to do - she used to go sleep at same time as me.
She now wakes fully at 6.30am! Which is doing my head in because she sits up in bed giving me nipple twisters, holds her hand to her ear shouting pretending she's on a phone (its so cute though) for ages and climbing over me and adam until i give up and take her downstairs! gone are the days were she wakes at 6 for early morning feed then dozes off in my arms till 10am when we finally get up! :tear:
I'm so not a morning person! lol

Same as bethany! Once in 10 month! And that night was the worst night sleep i ever had - i couldnt sleep cos i kept thinking she was gonna wake any minute. And worst of all i had her in her own room (she was 8 month) because i was trying to get her used to not fully co-sleeping why i was due to go in hospital (which didnt happen anyway), so i was constantly going in to check on her cos i kept theinking there was something wrong with her!

I remember thinking I'd never get a full nights sleep ever again but it does happen eventually! Brody finally slept through at about 14 months just suddenly! It's so hard though when they go through phases of waking :aww: :aww: :aww: :aww:

Re: i miss sleeping... :(
well, i gave him dinner earlier tonight - OH and i decided to get a pizza takeaway so connor had 1/2 a packet of ella's kitchen chicken casserole cos i couldn't be bothered to cook for him ( ) followed by a whole yoghurt with 3 tsps of porridge mixed in, followed by a chunk of banana. he then spent two hours tearing round the living room before bf-ing to sleep.
he went down at his old time of 8.30pm - i sooo hope it means that the rest of tonight will follow the old pattern too. dream feeds have never made any difference before but i think i might try one again tonight; am going to bed in a minute, so we'll see...

Re: i miss sleeping... :(
bah.
its my own fault for staying up late, but OH and i were playing on the ps3 together and having a giggle.
i dream-fed him at 1am for half an hour and he still woke at half three, and every 20 minutes thereafter, screaming at me to put my boob in his mouth. i don't even mind being a mummy dummy, i just wish he wouldn't yell at me...
he's been up for the day since 8am. i'm sooooooo tired

Re: i miss sleeping... :(
:aww:
Lil miss is just being evil atm too...
Usually I can get her to last till 2am...but the last couple of nights at 12am shes up and screaming...
Mind she has always screamed for boob.. the only difference atm is that she would kick and fuss for maybe 20 minutes then pass out for a few hours on the boob... Now she kicks and fusses from 12am till 7am and I'm just exhausted.
She was never a good sleeper...but its really taking the P now...
