Won't settle for a feed
I'm really worried. My lo is 15 weeks and has had this problem occasionally for a month or two but over the last few days it has gotten worse. Whenever I try to :boob: him, withing seconds to maybe 5 minutes he starts thrashing and arching his back. Hours can go by when he's has his last full meal and he still won't feed long. I've tried burping him but he still does it afterwards. I fed him around 5 this morning and now at 10am he still hasn't gone longer that 2 minutes. I've tried once and hour! Please help

Re: Won't settle for a feed
i agree it does sound like he is full of wind I have been bf for nearly six months now and lo used to do this from time to time usually when she needed a poo, not sure if that applies to you. I know it's hard but it will pass. Best thing to do is keep trying to put him on but try not to stress too much as this is likely to make him more unsettled, i know that that is easier said than done but try to stay calm, good luck hope it gets easier soon x

Re: Won't settle for a feed
Yes it does sound like wind, but do you think it may be that you have a slow let down?
Oli used to do this too when she had to work hard at getting the milk out (usualy during a growth spurt)
Just another thought

Re: Won't settle for a feed
6 months is the next, but as he is approaching the growth spurt time, I would say that it could be a possibilty
