Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

ATM I use a Medela Mini Electric.

I'd like to upgrade as I'm planning on BFing for 12 months (fingers crossed) and I also am going to be donating BM - just waiting for a call back from SCBU.

I have Medela sized freezer bottles so Medela is proably sensible. Anyone any experience??

I use the avent isis iq duo. Its great for me.
I think its quite personal which one suits you most. If your getting on with the Medela i would say stick with that one.
If your donating will they not let you use one of the ones they have?

Ive used the medela mini for pumping for the milk bank, it was fine - and the bottles they supply you with fit medela pumps.
I was going to upgrade, but this worked for me so thought why bother? Razz

Thanks Girls!

Claire - I know they are going to give me the bottles but I dont know about the pump...good point...I just assumed I'd use my own

Kay - I'm pretty happy with it except its reeeeally noisy and I think the motor is on its last legs - I picked it up on ebay for £15 which I thought was a bargain!
