Breastfeeding less, eating loads??
Caitlyn is BF less and eating wayyyyyyy too much. I'm worried she won't get enough breast milk. Is it alright for her to be weaning off BF during the day at 7 and a half months??

Quite a lot of babies go through this at about this age - it depends on how you feel as to what you want to do.
If she is still having plenty at night and some in the day, it will do no harm.
You need to watch for her going on a nursing strike - where she refuses point blank, as mummy milk is still the most important nutrition until she is 12 months old.
You could always cut her food back a little during the day and put her to the breast more, but as i said, it depends what your thoughts are really.
Do you want to head into a 'just night feed' routine, are you planning on going back to work, etc etc, and how long would you like to feed for?
just a few things to think about - at this stage you could encourage it either way depending on what you want from the next few months :aww:
(my PERSONAL thoughts are to keep them on :boob: as long as poss day and night - but thats just cos mines not a big food eater - he prefers the boob, and im not going back to work!!)

I'm not going back to work, but she seems to prefer food. She BF's after every meal but she doesn't seem to BF as much as she used to. She feeds alot in the night too. I guess I just want to know if this is doing her any harm?

Could well be the novelty factor... my ds went through a stage at around the same time when he ate loads, but then went off most things in preference to boob.
Do keep offering a milk feed before food though!

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.
