Hello!
Hi,
I'm Jodie, married to Jim and we have two boys - Ed's three and Alex has just turned one. I wasn't all that successful at breastfeeding with Eddie, he really didn't settle with it well at all. I think we managed six weeks before ceasing, but Alex was the total opposite. He latched on straight after delivery, and was a really easy (if very hungry!) baby to breastfeed from there on in. I eventually wound up his breastfeeding fun when he was a little over eight months, mainly due to the fact he had a couple of teeth and took to biting me! That signified a natural end to breast feeding as far as I was concerned, lol. I was really, really pleased that it went so well with him - it was a boost to find things easier after struggling so much with Ed.
So that is me.
I have been a stay at home mum since Ed came along, and have finally just gotten around to starting my own business, after talking about it forever. Jim's job came to an end 4 months back, and that kind of forced us into a position where we had to find a new family income, so we have thrown ourselves into trying to have a go on our own. It's not been easy, but we are finally up and running thank god! It's early days and scary days, but it's hopefully going to be worth it.We run a baby and mummy gift website called Pickle & Boo - there's an ad for us at the top of the home page. I'd love it if you would have a look at the site and see what you think of it - you can be honest!
Hope to chat to you all soon,
Jodie
