What counts as weaned?
Rhianna has just about stopped now, she'll go for days of not even thinking about mummy milk, and then she'll have a tiny bit before bed, or yesterday she got very upset about something and needed a bit of mummy milk to calm her down in the afternoon. She often cant get any milk these days, partly because Scarlett has already been there and emptied me, but partly I think because she cant suck the same way, she gets her teeth in the wrong place, which is uncomfortable for me, but not painful, but frustrating for Rhianna, especially when she's tired or upset. It feels like she'll be having her occasional mummy milk forever, or at least as long as Scarlett is having milk so theres still some there.
But its nice that its ending this way, and I'm quite happy its gone on for so long. I dont think Scarlett will be quite the same, she really doesn't like mummy milk for comfort, its all about food for her, and now she gets cross if I offer her milk when I'm eating proper food.

Mary you have done amazingly well!
Olivia was like Scarlett and I was just food to her! but Lottie is the opposite and I know she will keep going until she 3 if she wants!
Re: What counts as weaned?
Its strange, I often have people tell me I've done well to carry on, but to me its not well done, its just normal, its just like hugging Rhianna, no one would say well done for hugging your daughter every day till she's 3. It would have been much much harder to stop than to carry on.
But thanks anyway!
But thanks anyway!
