hospital tomorow

aeryn is going into hospital tomorow to get a couple of teeth out, she has 'soft teeth' and one has broken so it needs to come out theres also one at the back thats no good too. she ended up getting an abcess on her gum above the broken one (probably cos she kept poking)
i feel terrible, as you know she has a good diet (was bf for 2 yr+) ive always brushed so i dont know whats happened :iconsad:
anyway wish us luck (when maz had her back ones out we were in all day )

shes fine now! just a bit gummy at the front top! she was a little star we were in at 8am and home by 2.30! thanks for asking :aww:

How old is she Angela? Ty has probs with enamel on front teeth (so do I), and he may need them out at some point (we are under dentist and trying to preserve them at the moment )

Aeryn is 3 and 1/2 we didnt have a dentist for ages cos ours shut down and the waiting list for nhs was huge so i ended up signing to the next private with places (costs a fortune, millys having a filling today £40 ) so when aeryn was seen they were already quite bad, she was going to the community dentist for a 'paste' put onto try and strengthen them but after the front one broke and the abcess kept reappearing they said it was best to just get rid of them.
we were admitted at 8am she went to theatre at 9.30 where they put her to sleep with gas, it only took 10 mins, she was distressed when she came out cos of the strange feeling of anaesthetic and blood etc but within 1/2 hr after getting back to the ward she was back to normal, we were back home at 2.30, they have to keep an eye on them for around 4 hrs to make sure alls well. its a fairly straight forward thing usually though i couldnt help worrying a bit!
it might be that the soft teeth thing is hireditary (cant spell) some of you i think know aeryns parentage story?! i think her biological fathers family have a history of soft teeth

I agree with Katie I actualy thought about this the otherday.

It cant be down to anything your doing, and I hate it when dentists look down and are not very nice to mothers about it when it isnt their fault.

I read about one woman who ended up going private because her dentist was so rude and horrible abotu her daughters teeth and they found out through xrays that the teeth were disintegrating and weakening before they even broke through the gum.
