Was just wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a good deal or not?

Re: Advice please
From my experience you will need some hemp boosters to go under the microfibre inserts. THis will make the nappies last longer. Microfibre is quite squishy, whilst holding quite alot. Hemp soaks up the excess.
If you are using the nappies at night you will need to stuff it quite well. As in put in a few hemp/bamboo boosters.
I hope that helps.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Re: Advice please
Thanks so much for that Claire! :aww:
That sounds really great!
We aren't actually planning on getting them until he has arrived as we have been bought alot of newborn disposables (plus it gives us a few more weeks to get some cash together!)
But I'm definately interested :aww:

Re: Advice please
Jools would you like 100 paper and the 10 fleece ones. fleece keeps the babies skin dry as it sucks the moisture away from little bottoms.
I'm going to be doing my order from Bumgenius in the next few days. Are you still definatly wanting these? I will make sure I order enough of each colours you want.

Re: Advice please
A single BG nappy costs £14.75.
16 would cost £236
Pack of 200 liners ~ £4
1 x mesh bag ~£5
1 x wet bag ~£6
1 x bucket ~£10 (to hold 2 days' worth of nappies)
1 x washable wipes pack of 10 ~£10
This is average prices, of course.
Add this up and it is approximately £271, so there is a small costs saving to be made on buying the pack.
I would get more wipes tbh, I have around 30 - but these you can make yourself by cutting up a terry towel or some terry nappies, which are very cheap.
I would also get some Tea Tree oil for sanitising - put a few drops in your nappy bucket, and some Lavender oil for putting in the fabric conditioner drawer.
I have these nappies and they are excellent though I'm not sure it they would fit a big chunky 3-4yo! They do wash up well. I have to admit I don't use them at night, I use Drybees Fleece Pockets stuffed with the BG newborn insert, a couple of bamboo inserts and a hemp insert.
They are very good at containing bf baby poo, have had very few leaks with these when Tiny Terror was exclusively bf. And they seem to last a good 4-5 hours without leaking when wet.

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.
