Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Putting twins into a wrap sling Empty Putting twins into a wrap sling

Post by TashaAndBump Thu Mar 04, 2010 6:59 pm

I made these for some expectant twin mummies on another forum that I'm at Smile I thought I'd share them here as well as when I was pregnant I hunted high and low for instructions on how to put two babies into a sling (inlcuding how to put the wrap on - having never wrapped before!) and I couldn't quite find anything that fitted the bill!

I hope that expectant twin mamas will see these and be encouraged to try tandem babywearing as the wrap really has been a life saver for me! I'm so glad I tried it as I was a bit uncertain to begin with!

Anyway enough of me rambling on, here are the videos! Smile

This video demonstrates how I carry my twins now, with their legs out:

And here is a video (using dolls) demonstrating how to put very small babies into a pocket cross carry on the front. I used this with the girls up until the were about 8lbs each:

And if anyone is really interested in tandem wearing there is a really interesting blog about it here: http://babywearingtwins.wordpress.com/

Hope these can help somebody Very Happy
