I spoke too soon lol!!
Having replied to Sarah that my leaking all stopped at 6 weeks etc etc etc, I woke this morning to a shocker!
Took TY to the loo, and he said 'mummy my head is getting wet'. As we were walking, my boobs were dripping all over him It then started pooring - from both at the same time
I had to cup my hands under each, and filled them in seconds :haha: Ty gave me tissues (bless him!), and Dave got pump for me.
Luckily Corey was waking up, so I put him on one boob and pump on the other. I stopped pumping when the bottle was so full it would take no more , and then Corey finished it off :haha:
I think it is because Corey has slept thru every night this week - however this is the 1st morning they have been like this!
I was also a bit concerned - I read a reply - i think of Nichola - that if you dont feed through the night your supply can diminish. It obviously isnt atm, but is it likely too?
He feeds like a demon all day and evening, just not through night now :p:

Re: I spoke too soon lol!!
Cant believe that how bizarre it starts again once you reply to my post saying you stopped leaking at 6weeks or there abouts. Me and Mollie are getting wet frequently at the moment but hopefully my supply will settle down soon. Let me know how you get on cos Mollie only feeds once during night now so i leak a lot more in morning, so may be in same boat as you before long with no night feeds. You had me laughing my head off as i read your post. Perhaps lo should walk around with a shower cat/ umbrella for a while till it settles down again:lol!:

Corey has only fed once through the night from a couple of weeks - so i do wake up very full - and i said, went through a phase of waking up soaking! I thought the 1st couple of mornings after him going through the night i would be bad - but i was fine Its just started now after 5 nights
Oh well, my freezer supply is increasing........................

Re: I spoke too soon lol!!
Hi Kay
night feeds are important for your supply especially in the first few weeks as you are getting your milk supply established.
After that as long as you are feeding on demand I wouldn't worry. If you offer a feed if he does wake up and not a bottle or a dummy then your supply will meet his demand.
Just be warned though he might hit a growth spurt soon and start wanting those night feeds again! I would enjoy it while it lasts.
Out of interest how many hours does he sleep betwwen feeds at night? I only ask because everyone has a different definition of sleeping through the night.
One other thing if he is going quite long stretches betwwen feeds at night breastfeeding will not be a reliable contraception anymore
