Anyone read the article in the daily mirror today about how it will soon be legal to :boob: in public?! I thought it already was!

It say we still face charges under public order or indecency laws.

And that laws are on course to be introduced this year will make it an offence to stop any mum from breastfeeding a baby who is aged up to six months.

And we've had the conversation somewhere re it only being to 6 months - i assume we child abusers after that? Evil or Very Mad

Its disgusting a woman should have the right to feed her baby anywhere anytime. What are we suppose to do? Sit at home all day?!!! And as for the 6 month thing - it is so absurd (sp?)!!! Evil or Very Mad Fair enough if they are 18 and still having bitty then maybe :boob: in public isnt the best idea! haha!

affraid I thought it was legal to... I know it is in the US... dunno about Spain but no one has thrown a wobbly at me yet... Suspect time will tell though.

It is legal already scratch

Noone can legaly ask you to stop feeding your child in public.

Actualy I only think it was proposed last year around the same time

i've just read that mothercare link again and it says it was a proposed law in 2007 - i'm assuming it hasnt actually been passed! I still cant believe its illegal in england - thats so bad Evil or Very Mad

oh yeah its new thing, thys are "trying to protesc bf mothers" but only if mother is NIP child under 6 month old, i posted about it in news section:
