Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Post by Pink Rose Sat Sep 13, 2008 12:24 pm

Hello, I am a married, stay-at-home mum from the UK in my early 30's, I have 2 daughters ages 4 and 2.

I am currently nearly 15 wks pregnant and I am still breastfeeding my 2 year old and I am expecting in March. Ever since I have found out I was pregnant, I have cut the breastfeeding down from 'on demand' to night times only. My nipples are very sore! I am hoping to stop soon all together, but it's not easy! I have breastfed whilst pregnant before with my oldest daughter who weaned herself off me at the age of nearly 2. But I have got a sneaky feeling that my 2 year old daughter isn't going to wean herself off! I also still co-sleeping with my 2 year old daughter at the moment! Me and my DH are hoping to sort this out by the time the new baby born!

So I guess I will need your support along the way!flower

Hello to you all, you all sound like a nice bunch! I am still finding my way around this forum. Wondering how an earth you managed to put in all these lovely pictures and cute photos of your little ones? I guess I will have to do some figuring out how to create mine.

Co-sleeping is a hard habit to break, once you start there's no going back!

Tell us about yourself : People who have kids by more than 3 different men are SLAGS. They don't give a shit about the welfare of their children, otherwise they would be keeping their bloody legs shut and creating a STABLE environment for their kids, either in a stable relationship or as a single mother - because single mothers are perfectly capable of being fantastic parents. If you want to sleep around use some fucking contraception until you are sure your partner is in it for the long haul, it is not fucking difficult. Kids need stability - they don't need a succession of men coming in and out of their life.
