Hooray! Finally

Finally got someone in the medical profession who hasn't immediately told me to stop breastfeeding when they found out and made me feel like I'm poisoning my child.

Lil miss has been really ill, we tried an assortment of antibiotics and nothing worked, finally we changed doctors to the one in town. I went to see her and she was shocked that none of the meds had worked on lil miss or made her even slightly better, gave a really strong antibiotic and then turned to me and asked if lil miss still had formula...

I said no she never has, shes a booby baby... and she said oh well...that explains why she isn't as ill as most of her other babies with this illness.. I was told to just keep bfing as much as possible because she wasn't eating and that will keep her well... She also "informed" me that unlike the adverts on TV I should be breastfeeding lil miss till she is 2.

I left the docs grinning from ear to ear... after a long hard year of doctors constantly telling me to move Lil miss onto formula I finally found one who says I shouldn't.

I just hope my new doctor who I haven't had to see yet is as understanding... fingers crossed.
