SORRY!
Im sorry im AWOL at the moment. Im not having a good time at all, and i admit i have kind of avoided coming on here. In fact, im avoiding lots of things and i am trying to bury my head in the sand.
I posted a while back about the house, that is all ongoing, and probably the main root of my problems, but we have shelter, the police and the council working with us.
I've been ill for 4 weeks now, it started with severe flu and strep throat, which i had for a week, it just about cleared, and I got a second strain of flu 2 weeks after the first.
Im now left really weak and tired, constant headache. I just want to sleep. Im in bed by 8pm and struggle to get up at 8 am, and just have no energy and want to sleep inbetween. I went for blood tests, they are all fine, but i have been diagnosed with PND.
The doctors nurse and HV want me to stop breastfeeding. partly to get me on correct meds (my stomach ulcer has flared again from stress) and partly to help me recover and get some energy back.
Naturally, ive refused to, so they have referred me as a matter of urgency to CPN.
So at the moment, i am just focussing on me. Im sorry if i seem selfish, and i will be back.
The only thing i am doing that I enjoy at the moment is my peer support training, so i will be back to annoy you all when im qualified!

Re: SORRY!
oh kay! dont be sorry youre not selfish at all you HAVE to concentrate on yourself and make yourself well again. I dont blame you for not giving up bf, i was advised to so i could go on anti-d and i didnt, partly because i feel bf is a comfort in that i know im keeping willow well!
It sounds like youve really had a bad time of it lately and i really feel for you im not surprised youve been diagnosed with pnd
look after youself i hope you recover soon from everything and i cant wait till you annoy us with your training!

Re: SORRY!
Thanks girls
we dont have a house yet, but luckily the neighbours are leaving us alone at the moment.
Im now on antidepressants, and i have my first appointment with my CPN on 12th April.
My mum has had the radiosurgery on her brain tumor on 24 th March, but we wont know how successful it has been for 12 months - she has to have an MRI at 6 and 12 months. her surgeon has told her that if it doesnt work, as it is inoperable, it will slowly deteriorate her health and she will die from it
Im up and down really, Frankie still feeding well - having a bit of a tantrum on the boobs at the moment, but we have just started BLW and i think he is on a bit of a strike! (well, when he feels like it lol!)
I graduate from my Peer support course on wednesday - that has given me a nice focus, and im hoping to do voluntary work in the hospital with it!

Re: SORRY!
You put me to shame, how do you fit it all in, you always look fabulous in your facebook photos, your 4 boys always look so full of life and fun and must keep you incredibly busy and yet you've been doing this course and are hoping to volunteer!kay wrote:

I've only got 2, but I never get time to read a magazine, I ALWAYS look a mess, and can never keep up with my girls, never mind the housework! Can you come and stay with me for a bit of you volunteering and sort me out a bit?
Really sorry to hear about your mum, lets hope its good news, and just enjoy every moment you can.
