Colds! Yuk !!

I hate it when Olivia gets a cold!She was up loads last night, im so tierd
Well I found a great position to feed in,
that I only found about 20 mins ago 
I layed back slightly on the bed, so she was on top of me while feeding, belly to belly, facing my body.
She was less conjested and managed to have a good feed, all the snot fell out onto my boobies
but what the heck! im sure I will have much worse on me as she gets older :rolllaugh: :bf2:

Well up a lot again last night, but she does seem to be a bit better, though now she has a sore eye, well it started yesterday, and is worse today.
She seems to get a sore eye everytime shes tierd or has a cold, its all runny.
It's always the same eye
We have had drops for it before and it didn't really do much, so I just leave it.

Ty had that - the doc said it is the cold transferring to the eye - in young children and babies they wipe their noses with arm or hand, and it is always in an upward motion towards the eye.
If Oli favours a certain hand, she could be rubbing nose with that hand more, and then touching that eye.
TY had drops, but what a nightmare to put in!!!
I founf cooled boiled water on fresh cotton wool was best thing for it.
Ps - we all full of snot too, if its any consolation!

actually, we use cows milk for eye infections and to get things like grit out of eye - so booby milk probs does a good job too!
