My journey so far.......lol and my reviews.
Ok what i have learned in my venture in to cloth. (long one sorry)
I started off with terry squares from mothercare. We used the rubber knickers that came with the pack. I got some nappy nippas to use instead of pins. The first thing i did the day we started to use them was to buy some cotton bottom wraps. I used these for a couple of days before discovering the cloth nappy tree.
On discovering the cloth nappy tree i decided to buy some fancy wraps. I was now addicted.......lol I got some weenotions wraps.
The first non terry i bought was a fussybutts. It was gorgeous, but needed a wrap so it got covered. (I've sold this on now.)
I got some pocket nappys.
Pocketbots
I liked these they close with poppers and come in bright colours. I had a purple one and have a green one with turtles on. They are easy to use and dry in a reasonable time. I like the inside of the pocket on these as they have a bit inside like a pillowcase to stop the inserts from coming out. They have a fleece inner. These are quite slim fitting
Blueberry Minky - onesized
These were my first onsize nappy. I have 2, a brown with pink spots and a new tanzanite one. These are quite thick and take a reasonable amount of time to dry. They have aplix fastening with poppers to change size at the front of the nappy. I use these on both Kaydi and Lana as Lana likes these ones too.
Funky nappy
I had had 3 of these a lime green one, red one and a phycadelic one( i still have this one) These are aplix fastening. Really easy to use and fast drying. Plenty of room inside to stuff inserts into.
Weenotions
These are my fav for fancyness.
I have had two side snap nappies. These had cotton outers and with the inserts i use they got wet on the outside. (They looked lovely though, it was just Kaydi's shape i think.)
I had 4 of the older versions front snaps. I really like these although i have only kept the phycadelic one. Only because i want more onsized.
I have a new style onesized one of these, with some lovely embroidery on but i've not used this yet as i'm keeping it to wrap for christmas.
Bumgenius
I have 2 of these and more on the way.
These are onsized nappys. They are really slim fitting and dry superfast.
They are aplix fastening. I must say If i'm in a rush these are the ones i always go for. I really like these and think they are the most practicle.
Upsy daisy nappys
These are popper fastening and the ones i go for first before any other.
The ones i have are kind of velvet outer with fleece inner. They are fast to dry. I just love the coulours on these. I have a tequila sunrise(orange) and a huckleberry Gelato(purple) Slim fitting.
Stuffable onsize (nature babies)
I must admit i only use this once i'm running out(I don't know why.)
It dries quite fast its pink with butterflies on.
Minki nappies
I have a pink minky dot one and a dalmation one. They feel so lush, I love them.
These are onsize. They have lots of room to stuff inserts into. These are quite thick and take a while to dry. You can get slinki minki nappies which are a much slimmer fit. I got these for using at night, but use them in the day too.
Night time
For night time i'm curently using baby bufters nappys. These are quite big and bulky for night use. They have a pop in booster and need a wrap. I find these work really well for us at night. I have 2 of these. These take ages to dry but this shows how absorbant they are.
I have got some knitted longies that can be used instead of a wrap. They have to be Lanolised to make them waterproof. I'm going to get some pj tops to try the longies with.
Inserts/boosters
Well i started off with microfibre and terry. These worked well but wern't lasting very long as Kaydi is a heavy wetter. I use microfibre with hemp and bamboo or bamboo and hemp.
I have ptits dessous bamboo inserts on top of easypeasy hemp boosters . I find this the best combination It can last up to 4 hours although i usually change her before that.
The bamboo and hemp inserts/boosters do take a while to dry but absorb more. Microfibre absorbs fast but is quite squishy. It dries quite fast too.
Accesories
I personally don't use paper liners, but you can get flushable ones.
I use fleece linners. I use them to catch any poo, they also make baby feel dry. Most of my pockets are fleece inner and most of the time i don't add an extra linner.
I also have a bucket with a lid to keep my soiled nappies in.
A wet bag, I have a small one i carry around in my changing ag to keep dirty nappies in while i'm out and about.
Wipes, I use cloth wipes. Most are terry with cotton/fleece on one side. I just wet them with some warm water. You can make up your own solutions. ( This is something i'm going to try soon)

Your welcome.
Yes make it a sticky if you want Katie.
I have a couple more different ones on the way too I will add to the info when i've tested them.
It would be good to hear what you all think of the nappys you use too.
