Tyler out of nappies!

My lazy boy is finally in pants! 
I bit the bullet on Sunday, and the nappy fairy came and took the nappies away
.
The 1st 2 wee's were in his pants - but no accidents since
He's been to playschool, shopping, everywhere - and is doing really well! I have left him in a pull up overnight, but they have been dry too!

Well done. How old is he? I have been wondering when we should start to try and potty train Ellie? At the moment we will just sit her on the potty after taking her nappy off before her bath, but she doesn't use it.

He is just 3 - which is late, even for a boy 
Jamie was nearly 3 before he was out of nappies too.
The advantage I have found leaving them until they give me the signs they are ready after having spoken to other mums who 'forced' their kids to toilet train much earlier, is that we have had no regressions and no accidents other than the 1st day.

We've had dry nights too since the nappy fairy came!

well done...
I agree also about waiting till they are ready. My son was about 3 & my god how everyone kept critising saying i should have made him by now, but when he was ready he was dry day & night . My daughter on the other hand was forced by my mum (who i lived with at the time) as soon as she could walk & she had frequent accidents in the day.
