* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times

Best sling for newborn? Empty Best sling for newborn?

Well I have been looking around and from what I can gather a the best to start with is a ring sling?

See I used a wrap one, but would like to give the ring one ago.

What are your views on them?

I used the ringsling from birth - it was great, and onto the wrap later.
I found the ringsling great from birth as you can vary babys position, feed in it, swap shoulders etc. Its also easier to 'master' - putting on etc - you can pre-thread it and just leave it like that, tightening up when you put it on.
I used mine until Corey got to such a weight he was putting too much strain on the shoulder, then i went onto the wrap as it dispersed the weight more evenly.

I totally agree with what Kay says. I've had various slings. The wrap was lovely though, but with a newborn I think it might be a bit fiddly. A ring sling was so easy. I still sometimes use the ring sling but lil miss is much too large for it now really, and it hurts my shoulder but for for the first 6 months it was wonderful Smile

After that I have to say my Mei Tai is wonderful. I had it custom designed with Simply Mei Tai who made it bigger for me because lil miss is rather hefty now Wink Being much more confident in using a mei tai I'd use one of them from birth.

As for the ring sling, I'm keeping mine for the next. Its so handy when you have one, you can just pop it on quickly Smile
