Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times

As you all know my Andrew has been having infection after infection which will be temporarily cured by antibiotics, O nly to re-appear when the course of medicines has finished.

After 3 different antibiotics we were referref to ENT specialist.

Andrew has glue ear and has an appointment on 14th July. The ENT Dr has explained that more than likely Andrew will be needing grommits.

At last I have found out the root cause of all the infections and have received excellent care from the NHS. I saw a specialist the day after I took Andrew to my GP for the 3rd time.

Poor little lad, its horrible to see them poorly . At least something is now being sorted for him & hes young enough not to remember any of it. Not nice for mummy though. Will they have to keep him in presumably you can stay with him so he can still be breastfed.

Thanks for the concern girls.

I gave Andrew the antibiotics for 3 days and did not continue the full 7 days as the medicine really upset his tummy. This was the 5th lot of medicine he has been on and all it does is clear the infection for a couple of weeks.

I think it would be good for you to go aloong to a herbalist or homeatherpist.

I know you said that the doc didn't think it would be good for his age, but in my experience with docs they dont always know what they are talking about, alot of them still are not comfortable with other means of treatment, and the antibiotics wont do him any good and isn't do anything for him.
It wouldnt hurt to see one and ask some questions?
