curiosity question
I'm not worried about this, its just curiosity:
Daisy has always had milk spots around her eyes, does anyone know what causes them?

Re: curiosity question
Probably its because of dry skin- do you use baby oil, etc?
or she still is "getting" out all your hormones from pregnany and labour.

Re: curiosity question
Made big difference with Maya and John, You can even use virgin olive oil to misturise baby skin- a little bit, just few drops on wet skin after bath, just be carefull, baby will be splippery; or cople of drops in a bath - and watch for slippery baby too...
There are there some good, chemical free lotions for babies too, but olive oil is purest I believe, and was recommended by my midwife aswell.

Re: curiosity question
Bethany had these milk spots as well as some proper spots (not milk spots) until she was 3 or 4 month. The red spots i think were due to my hormones i think. But wish i'd have used some olive oil on her now for the milk spots - i didnt no you could lol. I've only ever used water on her skin even to change nappy. Its only these last 2 week i've started using wipes (Simple) to change poo nappys cos they are all lumpy with bits of carrots in them now (lol) cos of her having some solids

Re: curiosity question
Helen, we love simple wipes!
If anyone is using olive oil: please remember, baby is NOT for eating, don't get too exited and start sprinkling spices :pml:
