As iv ff ans bf iv never felt uncomfy or looked down on etc when i bf blake at groups full of ff mothers and to behonest i never got told anything about ff when i had my others i got told the instructions are on the formula tin!!!
But thats great about the grant though

I've also ff and bf. I think when I ff I knew I could go anywhere and didn't feel like I couldn't. However, with bf, I know people can be judgemental which has, in the past, affected my feelings towards breastfeeding in public.
I think baby cafe was the first place I bf in public and therefore built up my confidence to carry on bf'ing in public wherever I went. I think it's nice to have a place purely for breastfeeders and everyone knows they are in the same boat and you can go there knowing that other people know how hard it is and will offer support when you are low, or struggling. I personally think baby cafe is extremely empowering, and I've made some great, like minded friends there.
