The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nation Childrens Fund say that reversing the decline in breastfeeding could save 1.5 million lives every year.


Nestlé aggressively promotes artificial infant feeding around the world, undermining breastfeeding and breaking the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes.


Nestlé makes a profit while others count the cost. Boycott Nescafé until Nestlé agrees to fully abide by WHO Internatianal Code and Regulations, and send the printable form to Nestlé UK.

Me too, im very shocked!

For a place that is advertised as enviromentaly friendly, you would think it would support breastfeeding too!

I think the problem is that until it was sold off it did but when u sell off a smaller company to a larger one ethics go out of the window in exchange for profit!!

I just can't believe that anyone; company or otherwise, not supporting or endorsing breastfeeding!
It is almost surmount to child abuse in my book!
This is a child's right, refusal to attempt or want to do best by your child especially nutritionally leaves me baffled!

These companies are a disgrace :tear:

I couldn't agree more - a couple of my friends were like this and i said i couldn't understand where they were coming from to point blank refuse. Giving up due to difficulties is one thing or premie babies not being able to but to not even consider leaves me confused and to be honest a little sad.

There is a sample of letter somwhere there ou can send to big boss and tell him you are boycotting Nestle.
I did it, and i added wishing them very un nestle christmas and nestle free new year, lol
