Re: AF!!!
Well trust me to speak 2 soon - mine arrived this morning!!!
I feel really bad - cramps back pain and dizziness.
I always suffered and had to go on the pill as a teenager but i had forgotten how bad it was
I have been in bed since Gary got home and will be heading back there soon with hot water bottle.
My mum said that there is a herbal remedy u can take but can't remeber what it is - any ideas!?
:please?:

Re: AF!!!
:aww: Awww hun
Taken from Kelly Mom
Evening Primrose Oil
Considered safe for nursing moms. Reported useful for nursing moms who are trying to conceive. Also reported useful for treating postpartum depression, sore nipples during ovulation, PMS, fibrocystic breasts, Raynaud's syndrome and plugged ducts. EPO is derived from Oenothera biennis seeds and is an excellent source of essential fatty acids and their more complex metabolites GLA ( gamma linoleic acid). The suggested dosages that I have seen vary from 500-6500 mg per day for various problems: 500 mg per day has been suggested for breastfeeding moms with sore nipples during ovulation; 1000 mg 3 times a day for PMS or fibrocystic breasts. According to Hale, overt toxicity of this product appears to be quite low. No pediatric concerns have been reported. The Botanical Safety Handbook regards EPO as "safe when used appropriately." Overdoses of essential fatty acids have been known to provoke gall bladder attacks.

Re: AF!!!
Mine came back when Ellie was about 9months. So it sounds like about the normal time. My HV made a good point, it takes 9months for you body to get ready to give birth. It takes another 9months for you body to get back to where it was before you became pregnant.

Re: AF!!!
Yes I do agree, go and see your doc about it first.
I have read that they aren't 100% on wether it effects the baby, but its like anything else that they say you should or shouldnt do, without knowing the facts
