The Mirror have an article today i thought i would share with you!

BABY MILK ADS BANNED - TIGHTER RULES TO BACK 'BREAST IS BEST'
Plugs for infant formula baby milk are to be pulled from Health Service leaflets in a tightening of advertising rules.
Advertising of powdered milk for babies under 6 months can still take place in Trade mags and scientific journals, but from January manufacturers will no longer be able to target parents directly.
The move comes as sales of formula have trebled in the past decade to £300million.
Britain has stayed near the bottom of the European league for breastfeeding - despite several scientific studies showing its benefits and government drives to encourage it.
Adverts for follow on formula - for infants over 6 months - will still be allowed on TV and in print with tighter rules. Only a few approved health and nutrition claims will be allowed on labels.
Public health minister Dawn Primarolo said: "The Government is trying to encourage breastfeeding. These new regulations ensure all types of formula are clearly labelled and advertised."
But campaigners were unimpressed. Patti Rundall, director of Baby Milk Action, said "We are disappointed. Women are being confused and misled by baby milk advertising."
Frances Day-Stirk, of the Royal College of Modwives, added "We are calling for a complete ban on promotion of breast-milk substitutes"

I know we all know it, but at least its in the news!
