Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Food poisoning Empty Food poisoning

Post by gem1981 Tue Sep 23, 2008 7:50 am

Cut a long story short. Our oven's broke. We went to cook the food for the christening on Sunday morning and the oven wasnt getting hot. On Saturday night we had chicken casserole, cooked in the oven. When I sat down to eat it I thought it wasn't very warm but decided not to say anything as Shane cooked it. ( We didnt know the oven was broke at this point) Anyway, we started eating it and if I get something in my head I cant eat it, and I was thinking 'is this cooked?' so I didnt eat a fat lot of chicken.
This morning Ben has had about 4 poo's in about 20 minutes. He says he doesnt feel poorly, but will keep an eye on him.
Like I said, I didnt eat alot of it, but i did eat some, so I'm wondering if I get it, will it affect Daisy?

Oh no.
Hopefully you both will be ok, if you didn't eat alot.
I don't know if it will affect daisy if you get it though. Hopefully you don't get it so won't need to now. Hope Shane is better soon too.

If its food poisoning and the symptoms are gastrointestinal only (i.e. sickness, diarrhea etc etc) it won't affect Daisy. The only thing is that you must make sure you are taking in more fluids as with the illness plus the breastfeeding you may become dehydrated and feel worse.

Hope everyone is ok.
