Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Emily has recently only wanted :boob: she wont eat much in the way of solids at all. She will snack inbetween but thats about all. I know breastmilk is great for her but now shes coming up to 16 months is this ok or will she need a iron supplement or anything??

Im interested in any replies too - some days Corey will only have boob, whereas other days he will have his feed in bed in the morning, and then not bother til after tea!

sounds perfectly normal from my experience! as long as they seem healthy and not tired all the time or run down. As long as it doesnt last too long, willow has days when she has boob all the time and days where shes not all that interested and would rather have food. Aeryn was similar and still follows that pattern, some days she eats and eats then for a while only picks and has mini amounts. hope that helps? xx

Lil miss does this, but its mainly when I am around... apparently at my mums/MIL she's fine and eats really well.
