This just isnt working and im getting abit worried
Abi is 8 and a half months and is now only bf last thing at night and if she wakes during the night which isnt often.
I really want to stop bf, so i have bought mam bottles, well yesterday i tried her at night and she would not take it and went to bed without her feed, she slept till 3am then she woke. Im absolutely knackered so i gave in and bf her at 3am.
Tried her again tonight and again she didnt take it so she is in bed without another feed.
She wont drink anything during the day from bottle or cup.
Do i just keep offering her the bottle and accept refusal and she might eventually take it, What do i do? Help.

Re: This just isnt working and im getting abit worried
The problem with trying to change a routine at night is it is certainly much harder. Its harder for them to change at night because they are tierd and just want their comfort.
Its a hard one to tackle, but if you really want to I would try and tackle it in the day, Oli never drank any bm out of a cup or bottle only from me.
I gave up with the bottle and just waited until she stopped, but if you want to stop then you wil need to keep trying with her hun :aww:

Have you tried a different bottle? Maybe she doesnt like the MAM ones?? Rather than buy a bunch of a certain type maybe you could buy one of another type?
I have some CTN bottles that you can have - I used one once and she didnt like them. I give EBM once a day and she likes Dr Brown. If you want them I'll post them to you tomorrow and you can try them for nothing - PM me if you do.

I agree totally. Brody would never take a bottle either. I also agree with trying different bottles - you never know she may just not like the MA ones.
