Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

topic2 8 week check up

Post by gem1981 Wed Jun 11, 2008 9:19 am

We've got our 8 week check up today and Daisy's first immunisations :iconsad: I was crying with Ben when I took him for his. I read somewhere that its a good idea to :boob: while they have their jabs, but my hv said not to incase Daisy starts to associate :boob: with pain. Not looking forward to it at all, poor baba!

I made adam hold her when she had her first jabs. I was heartbroken watching her cry. The worst thing was they did the first jab then when she stopped crying they did the next and that made her cry so much. The next lots of injections werent as bad though :aww:
