Breastfeeding tip : Recognising a growth spurt

* You feel as though you haven't got enough
* Baby getting upset at the breast (though can be a sign of other common problems)
* Baby is breastfeeding often or almost nonstop (feel like baby is always wanting to feed)
* A baby who was previously sleeping through the night is now waking to breast feed several times
* Baby will latch and unlatch, fussing in between

Post by Helen Fri Jul 04, 2008 3:21 pm

just got back from hols so only just been able to post. Not had a period yet since before being pregnant with bethany. But the first day of hols i had some spotting in my underwear. I thought oh great typical my period starts on first holiday! But apart from that day of spotting i have had no other bleeding! I dont understand! lol. Is it a sign my periods will be back soon? Welcome back! :aww: Did you had nice time?

It could be your fertility adjusting back. Probably is. You might get spotting like this every month for a while or not have anything at all for another 6 months or you might get period back straight away in a "normal" way. Sorry not to be able to give you straight forward answer, but everybody is differnt. I've had some cramps last month and some bloody dishcarge on loo roll too, not enough to even stain panty liner; cramping lasted few days, spotting- only twice when i went to loo.

You might feel change in your supply around this time. Calcium/ magnesuim supplements helps a lot so is primrose oil.
Here is all the info about dosage and how to take it:

Other reason could be implantation bleeding. I'm not implying anything, just thinking out loud. In doubt take preg test.

Other reason could be holiday itself: differnt place, differnt food, routine, etc.

I hope it helps a bit.
