Re: Non emergency c section doubles risk to mother
i always knew non emergency is no good.
its i belive celebreties who sets the bad example, you know,to posh to push.
then when they want to have natural abour with next its to late, cos not many hospitals do VBAC...
And giving birth to my kids was amazing experience. the best!

Re: Non emergency c section doubles risk to mother
I dont understand why someone would want a non emergency one tbh, unless there was a very good medical reason.
I think labour rocks!

I didn't really enjoy labour at all, but I still wouldn't have a c section!
The reward of seeing your baby all mucky and on your chest and looking into your eyes is the most heart warming moment I have ever felt.

Re: Non emergency c section doubles risk to mother
I had a terrible labour with Connor but when the baby is out and as u say Tasha all mucky and on your chest there is nothing better.
I was very dissapointed I had to have c-section with Emily.
If ai had another then i would opt for VBAC - our hospital promotes them as long as there is no medical grounds for c-section.
I do feel that a lot of hospitals are going down the c-section route far to frequently - the rising rates are scary!

I had to have a c-section with Brody but at the time I was just happy to have him safe!
Will definately be going for a VBAC with the next one! Fingers crossed anyway!
